Qualifying for God's Anointing

DAY 12 OF 31

DON’T JUMP OUT OF THE DIVINE PROCESS

There are many people that have jumped out of the process of God. Look at John Mark in the Acts of the Apostles. When Paul received the apostolic calling, John Mark’s mother was Mary, whom they were praying in her house, and his uncle was Barnabas, the apostle. You can’t have a better heritage! They chose him to follow Barnabas and Paul as a minister because God had an apostolic destiny for him, but it was too difficult for him to continue when he entered the process. The Bible says in Acts 13:13 that John Mark went back.

In Acts chapter 16, Paul chose Timothy to go with him. The members of the fellowship in Derbe and Lystra spoke well of Timothy. He was already a member and son there, then Paul took him along. Verse 1 of both the first and second books of Thessalonians opens with, “Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus….” Timothy became an apostle with Paul and Silvanus. In 2 Timothy 4:11, Paul told Timothy to bring John Mark when coming because he was profitable for him for the ministry. The word “ministry” there is deaconship. A man whom God designed to finish ministry as an apostle ended up as a deacon because he couldn’t go through the process.

There is a process to produce champions in the Kingdom. David went through the process, and because he carried the anointing, he could bring the head of Goliath down while his brothers who did not pass through the process were not able to face Goliath.

PRAYER: Help me, Lord, to stay under the divine process to become Your will for my life. Amen!
