Prayers of Victory

DAY 4 OF 10

The Strong Man

"When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils." Luke 11:21-22 NKJV

The strong man mentioned in this verse is the devil, who guards what belongs to him. However, there is a stronger man, and his name is Jesus. Every time a soul is saved, Jesus defeats the strong man and reclaims what once belonged to him. If you feel yourself sliding back into the strong man's palace through sin, call on the name of Jesus, and he will come upon him, overcome him, and disarm him on your behalf.

Declare this today.

Devil, you trust in your armor, but I trust in Jesus. He is the stronger man armed with the power of the blood. Your armor and weapons have been taken and dismembered. When I call upon the name of Jesus and declare the blood of Jesus over my life, he comes upon me, overcomes me and keeps me from sin. I have risen from the snares of sin with Jesus. Jesus' victory is complete and finished; yours is temporary and fleeting. You have no power over me. I am in Christ Jesus. My old self died with him, and my new self has risen with him. Jesus Christ has redeemed me; therefore, I am no longer yours. Flee from me in the name of Jesus. Amen.

About this Plan

Prayers of Victory

When the devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he spoke the word of God back to satan and told him to flee. If you are in the middle of spiritual warfare, you need to declare the word of God back to the enemy. The Bible tells us to use the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Therefore, praying the word of God is your defense against the enemy’s attacks. You have all power and authority over satan. The victory is yours. Declare it over your life today.
