Guardians Of Ancora Bible Plan: Ancora Kids Are Lost!Намуна
SORRY
“I can look after myself. I don’t need you anymore!”
Have you ever said that – or thought it?
Jesus often told stories to people to help them find out more about God. One of those stories is in Luke, chapter 15, verses 11 to 24. It’s a story about being lost. Who is it that gets lost?
Read Jesus’ story and think about the son who went away – and about his father, left at home.
Act it out! You’ll need three people or toys to be the father and sons. (If you have more than three people, ask someone to be the narrator. Others could be the people the son met in another country.)
How do you think the father felt when his son left home?
How do you think God feels when people turn away from him and do things that are wrong?
The lost son thought he would be in big trouble when he got home. But what happened instead?
What did his father say? What did his father give him?
Pray: When we say sorry, and really mean it, God always forgives us. Talk with God about anything you need to say sorry for.

About this Plan
Everyone loves a story! Maybe that’s why Jesus used stories so often when he was telling people about God. This three-day reading plan introduces children to three of Jesus’ much-loved “parables”: stories of being lost – and being found again. Along the way, they will find out more about our loving and ever-searching God. The plan complements the free children’s game app Guardians of Ancora.
