DAY 14 OF 15

The idea of sacrificing yourself for someone else is a pretty hard situation for any of us to comprehend. We’d probably all want to think that we’d make the choice to help another person, but in reality, we don’t really know how we’d react if we ever faced that situation. Is there anyone in your life who you would willingly sacrifice yourself for? What about five people? Ten? Twenty? A million? What about sacrificing yourself to save the entire world... not to save their physical lives, but to give hope for their souls?

Jesus willingly came as a sacrifice to save all of humanity from the sin that separated us from God. He came not to prolong our lives here on earth, but to give us eternal life - a promise that we would be able to stay with Him forever. Take some time today to think on this amazing sacrifice and what it means for you and your life. If you have time, go for a walk, and pay attention to the people who you may pass along the way. Pray for each person you see, and thank Jesus for His sacrifice on the cross to ensure they have the opportunity for an eternal life spent with Him.

About this Plan

Shift

A small shift can be enough to change your perspective. When we shift our perspective, we allow ourselves to see something in a whole new light. Many of us have a picture of what we want and expect Jesus Christ to be, but if we allow ourselves to shift our perspective, we can see a God who is so much more than we think.
