We honor the Lord when we invest our wealth and the first of our income into eternal godly endeavors. Our giving is a reflection of what is important in our lives. When we support our churches, ministries, and community outreaches with our money, our time, and our talents, we demonstrate God’s priority in our lives.
Where are you investing your wealth, your time, and your spiritual gifts? Believers should diligently pray about how much to give and pray for joy in giving. Although we have many expenses on earth, believers must not forget that we have a responsibility to invest in God’s priorities so that His Word and His mission spread globally.
Father God, I thank You for all of Your blessings in life. Lord, help me to prioritize my income. Instill in me the desire to give selflessly to those eternal works that You have placed before me. Loosen the selfishness that keeps me from being generous with my money, my time, and my talent. Help me to believe that no matter how much I give, Your blessing is even greater. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
