Faith & Love: A One Year Bible Reading Plan - Part 1Намуна

This whole chapter is filled with miracles and wonder!
Jesus feeds the five thousand.
Jesus walks on the water.
Jesus declares, “I am the Bread Of Life.”
His words carry eternal life.
In times of challenge, I often find myself doing the asking: "Jesus, where shall we buy bread to address this challenge?" But in this Scripture the table is turned: Jesus is doing the asking! He wants us to discover something about ourselves — He already has the answer in mind!
God does not allocate resources to our problems. He attaches them to our identity in Christ.
He wants us to learn how to grow up in all things in Christ. He has our maturity in mind. In all our life events we are being schooled that God says “yes and amen” to our identity in Christ.
The importance of thinking of yourself in the same way heaven thinks of you cannot be underestimated. When we see ourselves as God sees us, we can turn problems into provision. Heaven becomes activated in our circumstances.
How can you allow growth in your own thinking today when Jesus asks you, ‘Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?’ Remember, in Christ, He already has in mind what He is going to do!
