My best friends growing up always made fun of how I viewed the world because I believed in the best, even when things were dark and gloomy. I remember the jokes about how I just did not understand reality and lived in a fog. But the truth was that when I decided to follow Jesus, my whole world changed and unbridled joy grew inside of me. The moment I asked Jesus to live in my heart, I was like a colt set free from her stall, ready to run! My relationship with Jesus was the most important relationship I had! He was the one who gave me all that I needed. My sins were washed away by the power of His love on the cross. He was the reason I lived by faith with joy in my heart and with His power active and alive in me!

Do you need a friend who understands you? Open your heart to Jesus Christ, who wants a relationship with you. The Father has given you His Son so that you can have an eternal friend. He will set you free and bring you the joy that will make you run like a colt, without fear and with a new zeal for life. Are you ready to receive all that is yours in Christ Jesus?

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, I am so thankful for my relationship with You! I am ready to receive all that is mine in You. I know that because You died, I can live! You are living in me as Your beloved. I have the joy that comes from You in my heart to stay for eternity! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
