Acting badly

Have you ever reacted badly to someone, and plotted some kind of downfall for them? How did that feel? If you went through with it, what would be the fallout for you and others?

Something to think about while you are reading today’s passage:

Murder. Adbuction. Slavery. Hardly worthy pursuits for the bearers of God's promises, but they were real people. What can God do when we throw a spanner in His workings? Was this the best way to achieve His purposes, or does God work with what we give Him?

Something to talk about with players of The Aetherlight:

The players meet Jefferson in the bottom of a pit, where he was dumped by the other scientists as a result of his arrogance. You could talk to players about how we respond to people that we don't get on with, and how God can redeem broken circumstances.
