Something to think about while you are reading today’s passage:
Joseph has inadvertantly set the stage to save his entire family. It doesn't seem to be some kind of grand scheme, at least not of his. Reflect on Jesus' words in John 5:19 "[The Son] does only what he sees the Father doing." How does Joseph reflect Jesus' approach?
Something to talk about with players of The Aetherlight:
In The Aetherlight, players were originally commissioned to restart the Great Engine. The Scarlet Man redirected them to help Jefferson, who ends up planning how to restart the engine! You could ask how they felt about finding they were doing the right thing all along, and whether their feelings about the tasks they had been doing changed when they realised what it led to.
