Have you ever seen a magic trick explained? Did that make it more or less impressive when you knew what had actually happened?
In The Aetherlight, when Jefferson gets out of the hole and back to his camp, all his experiments and equipment have run down. Knowing how important the work is to him, how do you imagine he felt? Would you have tried to continue if it was your camp?
Something to think about while you are reading today’s passage:
Joseph's brother is shocked at what has happened, even though he helped, in part. How do you think Joseph is feeling about what has gone on? Think about how terrible this looks to all concerned. Is it possible that God is still involved behind the scenes?
