Don’t Feed GreedНамуна
Giving to others who can’t repay you is a gift to Jesus.
Imagine your shoes got a hole in them. Or you moved to a new school and you don’t have any friends. Or maybe you didn’t have enough to eat for lunch so you’re still starving. How amazing would it be if someone just came right up to you, gave you what you needed, and didn’t even expect you to say thank you? That would be great!
You can give like that! In fact, Jesus wants you to give like that. In the Bible verse Matthew 25:40, Jesus says that doing something kind for people who can’t repay you is like doing something kind for Jesus!
So look for your chance. Pick someone who isn’t going to give you a Christmas present or someone you don’t even know. Find out what they need. Are they hungry? Do they need a friend? Do they need some new clothes or a toy to play with? Give them what they need, and don’t expect a single thing back. Give to them, and think about giving to Jesus.
