Esther, Born for Such a Time as ThisНамуна
We read earlier how the king allowed Haman to write a decree to destroy the Jewish people. This would take place on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month. It was a horrible decree which would be the end of the Jewish people.
In Esther 3, God seemed so distant. But here, in Esther 9, we see His plan and His guidance. God gives wisdom to Mordecai to write another decree which permits the Jews to defend themselves against the enemy on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the day of judgment.
Haman was being used by the devil in an attempt to destroy God’s people, which Satan has been trying to do from the very beginning of man. He seduced Eve into sin, which would be our eternal downfall and result in eternal death. We have never been able to save ourselves, but God made a way through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.
If we have accepted Christ's payment for our sins, we don’t have to be afraid in the Day of Judgment, because we are covered by the blood of Jesus. We can stand on His promises and His Word, because we are children of God Most High. For us, Judgment Day will be our eternal freedom.
Are you certain that your sin has been cleansed by the blood of Jesus?

About this Plan
In this plan, we will take you through the book of Esther. We can admire Esther's courage, but we should see the whole picture: Esther, too, needed to be reminded of Who rules and that her life is in His hand. We pray that Esther's story inspires you to see God's hand in your life. God has intentionally placed you where you are for such a time as this.
