Grieving Намуна

There’s a song that I grew up listening to written by Kirk Franklin.
My Life Is In Your Hands.
The lyrics say:
“You don’t have to worry, and don’t you be afraid.
Joy comes in the morning.
Troubles, they don’t last, always.
For there’s a friend in Jesus who will wipe away your tears
and if your heart is broken, just lift your hands and say,
‘Oh I know I can make it, I know I can stand,
No matter what comes my way my life is in your hands.”
That song gives me comfort and peace when I lose someone I dearly love. “For there’s a friend in Jesus who will wipe away your tears.” That line tells me when we lose someone in our life, Jesus still stays with us during our grief. With Jesus, you will make it through the season. Jesus is a shepherd who takes care of his sheep, and He always holds them close. People come and go, but a true friend sticks closer than a brother. Jesus is the faithful friend who will never leave you nor forsake you.
