God's Will for Your LifeНамуна
Tune In And Testify!
We’re talking about five things that are God’s will for your life in these turbulent times. Here are two more:
#2 Change your focus. In Numbers 13, Moses sent 12 men to spy out the Promised Land. They returned to say that it was indeed a land flowing with milk and honey, but there were also giants in the land. Ten of the spies focused on the giants instead of God’s promise and reported that it was impossible to take the land. Even though two of the spies, Joshua and Caleb, said, “We can do it with God’s help!” unfortunately, the people chose to believe the 10 spies.
They listened to the wrong report and focused on the giants. As a result, they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Today, the same thing can happen. If you are dismayed about things happening in the world today, you are listening to the wrong report and focusing on the wrong thing! Stop listening to “the 10 spies network” and tune in to what God is doing. You’ll never hear the good news by listening to worldly media, so turn it off and spend more time looking into the real truth, God’s Word. Instead of magnifying the world’s problems, magnify the Lord (Psalm 34:3).
#3 Watch your words. Hebrews 4:14 says, Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Other versions say “let us hold on to our faith!” We hold onto our faith by what we say. Faith demands expression. Testimony is a part of the life of faith, so testify about your faith in God – not what’s happening around you.
Confess that you’re redeemed and Satan has no dominion over you. Declare that God’s Word is true! Testify: “I serve God! He always causes me to triumph!” In order to have a robust faith and victory in life, watch your words. Continually testify about what the Lord is doing. Declare as Caleb did, “My God is well able!” Keep the faith, knowing that God is always working behind the scenes.
