God Has A Good Plan
Have you ever heard a seemingly unbelievable promise - like from a sales person or a relative, that turned out to be true?
CONSIDER:
Are you the kind of person who struggles to see the positive in things, or do you have a generally positive outlook? Why do you think this is?
What kinds of experiences can people have that might affect their ability to trust God?
To summarise today’s tutorial, what is one of the rational basis we have for believing that God’s good plan will work?
What hope for the future does God promise to those who are willing to ask his forgiveness and follow his teachings?
REFLECTION:
What can you take away from today’s tutorial and discussion?
How could this affect the way you view suffering and evil — and even your difficult experiences in this life?
PRAYER:
Thanks again God for the way you have preserved the Bible in history. It’s mind-blowing not only that Jesus fulfilled so many predictions, but also that it’s possible 2000 years later to verify the reliability of both the original predictions as well as the history that later fulfilled them. You have gifted us with yet another layer of evidences to encourage us that our faith in you is not misplaced. Thank you! You have also given us yet another reason to trust that you really do know the future and have a plan. This gives us great hope. Thank you is all we can say.
Amen
