God’s Love and Judgment
After reading all three devotional scripture passages today, the reader can possibly imagine that the Psalmist is writing about the evil king Jehoram. He fits the description of evil and how God Almighty took care of that wickedness because He is holy. Now in the New Testament we read of intense love, care, and encouragement from Paul for the believers in Thessaloniki. We can know from the passages today that when we cry out to our Heavenly Father, He will deal with the evil wickedness because His love for us as believers is great and powerful.
Prayer: Blessed be Your Holy Name, Oh Righteous One. Nothing escapes your eye. You know the wicked and their evil doings. We trust You to do what is right and we acknowledge Your extreme love for us. Please help us to grow in mercy and forgiveness for others. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
