10 ENCOURAGING Reasons for TrialsНамуна

Do you remember how we said that our trial may not be about us at all?
The sixth reason God allows affliction is for His glory.
The perfect example of this is the man Jesus healed who had been blind since birth in John 9:1-3.
The disciples asked Jesus who it was that sinned to make this man blind.
“Was it the man or was it his parents,” they asked.
But Jesus made it clear that it was neither this man nor his parents, but rather to bring God glory.
Could God be allowing affliction in your life because somehow He will be glorified by it?
This seems like an honor to me! This blind man made it into the eternal Word of God.
He endured affliction his entire life so that on one fine day Jesus could heal him and bring glory to the Father.
Your life and trial could be used for the express purpose of bringing God glory, just like the blind man!
