Simon Peter knew there would be no fish to catch – but he did what Jesus said. Next thing, there were fish everywhere!

What did Simon Peter say when he saw his boat was full of fish?

• “Don’t come near me. I’m sinful!”
• “That’s brilliant.”
• “Fish for tea!”

Why do you think he said that?

What did Jesus reply?

• “Yes, you are sinful!”
• “That’s OK.”
• “I like my fish cooked in oil.”
• “Don’t be afraid. From now on, you’ll be catching people.”

Pray: Make a list of all your best things: favourite toys, games, sports gear. Walk away from it. Talk with Jesus about how important he is to you, compared with these things.
