Embrace the Race: Persevering Through Challenging Times

DAY 28 OF 28

Discuss and Connect

Today we encourage you to connect with a small group or a friend to discuss what God has been speaking to you this week.

Discussion Questions:

1. How has God been speaking to you through this week's Bible readings? What are some things that stuck out to you? What are some things you have learned?

2. Read Acts 16:6-10

We see God's guidance for Paul's trip to Macedonia. How have you seen God guiding you in your life? Is there a particular story that sticks out to you?

3. Read Acts 17:16-34

How was the way Paul shared his faith in Athens different from how he would usually preach about Jesus? In what ways did Paul try to find common ground with his audience? What can we learn from this passage that could help us better share our faith with others?

4. Read Acts 19:11-20

God did some extraordinary miracles through Paul in the city of Ephesus. God was moving, and as a result, the city experienced transformation. In what ways did this move of God impact the people in this city?

5. Read Acts 20:1-2

Can you recall a time when you received encouragement from someone? What were the effects of their influence on your life? What are some practical ways we can encourage those around us in their faith journey?

6. Read Acts 26:12-29

Paul openly shared his testimony about coming to Christ with those he encountered. Have you ever shared your testimony with someone else? What advice would you give to someone who would like to learn how to share their faith story?
