The Power to Change
What a beautiful chapter that demonstrates that God's love transforms us. This week we observed how insecurity could produce bad fruit in our lives and cause damage to relationships.
1 John 3:1 reminds us that God the Father lavishes his love on us. We aren't just God's creation, but he calls us his children. We have an amazing heavenly Father who loves us deeply. 1 John 4:19 says, "We love because he first loved us.". It is because of this amazing love that we can love others. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can rule over the wrong thoughts, insecurities, and temptations that we encounter.
Daily Challenge: In prayer, ask God to fill you once again with his love and to reveal to you how much he truly loves you! Ask him to give you his love for those you find a challenge to love.
