Living Waters Devotional

DAY 6 OF 7

Your Life

This woman’s encounter led to many in her city coming to know Jesus. This reject, this outcast, this divorcee, was the same woman that God used to spread the good news throughout Samaria that the messiah was present. Isn’t that incredible?

Your struggle and issues are not your identity; stop identifying yourself with your past. You are not forsaken, you are not a loner, you are not a reject, you are not an outcast, you are not a worrier, you are not timid, you are not used, you are not worthless and whatever else you have been told that you are.

You’re a child of God, loved, cherished, bold, healed, accepted, never forsaken, a treasure and worth more than rubies. When Jesus went on the cross and rose again, He enabled you to live in these truths so that you can be free.

No matter what your history is, your mistakes, or what you’ve been through, you are qualified to tell the good news of the goodness and grace of God!

When you truly encounter God each day, there is a transformation that becomes evident to those around you. When you choose to overcome the struggles, trials and issues in your life, it is a form of hope to someone else.

God can use you to do so many great things. He can use you to change many lives and He can use you to make a difference wherever you are situated. You are a beacon of light in the midst of darkness when you choose to follow Jesus each day.

Prayer:
Lord, show me your intention for my life. Use me for your will and for your glory alone. Amen

About this Plan

Living Waters Devotional

This devotional is taken from the book Living Waters which explores the story of the woman at the well in John 4. This nameless and sinful woman encountered Jesus and her life was never the same. One encounter with Jesus can transform your entire life and each day is an opportunity to encounter Him. No matter who you are or what your past looks like, God desires to meet with you.
