Worship at the Well

DAY 40 OF 50

How do we find joy? Sometimes it’s hard to wake up and be full of joy first thing in the morning when your mind is immediately filled with all of the tasks and responsibilities of the day or the anxieties of what is to come.

Start by thinking of His goodness, making statements out loud to Him about what you are thankful for about Him – that He is righteous, just, holy, kind, merciful… There is so much to be thankful for. When we focus our thoughts on Him from the start rather than worrying about the future or what we have to accomplish that day, we reset our perspective at the beginning of the day to where it ought to be, off ourselves and onto God. Seek to enjoy His Presence in the moment. You will find joy when you focus on Him and His goodness. As you focus on Him, mentally catalog and concentrate joy and gratitude into the character of who He is and praise Him for those things. When you praise Him, you don't have room in your heart for anxieties or worries. You only have room for the One who brought you out of darkness and into His Holy light. He and He alone is worthy to be worshiped and praised. He invites you to enter His Presence and experience the fullness of His joy together with Him as your "tongue proclaims his righteousness and praises all day long." (Psalm 35:28)

About this Plan

Worship at the Well

As we journey together the next 50 days, we will experience what worshipping at the well looks like! God’s desire is for His body to be unified, with humble hearts, and authentic worship. Join us for the next 50 days as we are encouraged and equipped to re-dig the wells of worship and prepare for rain! We hope you are encouraged by this plan!
