Have you ever played "Spot the Difference"? You know, the game where you have to compare pictures nearly identical except for a few tiny differences? Sometimes the differences are easy to catch. Sometimes they're hard to find. And sometimes we play this game in real life by comparing ourselves to others. When we do, the differences we spot are usually seen as negatives. We criticize others when they seem a little too "different," and we criticize ourselves when we feel like we're the "different" ones. But what if instead of criticizing our differences we learned to celebrate them instead?
In the Bible, a guy named Paul had something to say about this. He said yeah, we are all different, just like different parts of our bodies all have different purposes. Just like your body wouldn't work if it was one giant foot, God made each of us with different qualities and abilities. That's why we can celebrate (instead of criticize) our distinctions.
Whose distinctions can you celebrate today?

About this Plan
If someone asked who you are, what would you say? Are you a musician? A basketball player? A friend? A daughter or son? Those things might be true, but have you ever felt like you’re still figuring out who you are, what you’re good at, or why you’re here? In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll explore who Jesus is and discover who we’re meant to be.
