Ever been on a family road trip? PHEW. Without fail, something always goes wrong with the transportation, someone gets motion sickness, someone forgets something (or someone) at the last rest stop, and halfway through, everyone on the trip is ready to go home. And then it happens. Somehow, no one can figure out how the person driving gets turned around and starts to go the wrong way. Soon enough, the driver is bombarded by both the GPS and the entire family yelling to turn around because they’re going the wrong way.
Ironically enough, a lot of our life can turn out this way. We think we’re headed in the right direction, but what’s happened is that we got distracted somewhere along the way and started heading down the wrong path. We can spend so much time trying to find our own way, and ultimately, it's because we are too proud to admit we are wrong. The only thing that matters is whether we will listen to our spiritual GPS, turn around, and head in the right direction.
What do you feel like God is nudging you to do as your "next step" in your spiritual life?

About this Plan
Jesus had a lot to say about love, but not everyone loved him. Instead, Jesus’ opponents hated him, attacked him, and saw him as extreme — a radical. And they had a point! The things Jesus taught about loving God and others challenged the status quo. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll look at four ways Jesus invites us to love others according to his revolutionary example.
