Poured Out: Songs of Prayer and PraiseНамуна
Today marks the beginning of reading Book 5 of Psalms (Psalms 107–150). These psalms show God’s unwavering commitment to His promises to David. Ultimately the Lord Himself is the divine King (Psalm 145), and He is worthy of praise as He will bring about victory (Psalms 146–150) over the rebellious nations (Psalm 2).
Before you read Scripture today, we invite you to pray this prayer: God, open my eyes to see You; open my heart to praise You; and open my mind to know You.
