Poured Out: Songs of Prayer and PraiseНамуна

Today marks the beginning of reading Book 3 of Psalms (Psalms 73–89). These psalms tend to focus on individual and national crises. We will come face to face with people who doubt the justice of God and His ability to stay committed to the Davidic covenant. Perhaps you can identify with the rawness of the psalmists as they pour out their hearts to a gracious and patient God. 

Before you read Scripture today, we invite you to pray this prayer: God, open my eyes to see You; open my heart to praise You; and open my mind to know You.
