DAY 4 OF 14

The Good Ways

Jeremiah 6:16

Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.

When crossing the road, we have to obey the traffic light. This is a safe way to cross the road. We can cross the road peacefully, knowing that all the vehicles will stop while we are crossing.

However, there are people who choose to jaywalk. They choose to find the shorter and faster way but unsafe. This is dangerous. People who do this know that what they are doing is dangerous and they won’t feel peace in their hearts while doing it.

It is the same with the path of life that we choose. God calls us to stop and consider the path of life that we are journeying along right now. God encourages us to open our eyes and see if the path we are walking now is the right way or the wrong one.

We must be willing and ready to do what God wants us to do. God has promised us that as long as we walk on the right path, there will be rest and peace for our soul.

Prayer

Dear God, I want to obey You and to always walk in the ways of Your righteousness. May Your peace stay in my heart. Amen
