The Soul Of A Worship Leader

DAY 4 OF 14

Worship Bows

Through Jesus, we have every access to the Father to come boldly to the throne. Hebrews 4:16 When we do, how is our posture? Are we bowed in holy reverence or are arms raised in joyous praise?

No posture is greater than another. God is less concerned with our outer appearance; He is more concerned about our inward being: a contrite and broken spirit. Psalm 145:14 We cannot worship Him with clinched fists or a hardened heart.

When was the last time that you bowed in worship? It could be in a church service or in your bedroom. It’s not about the place we worship, but about Who we worship. John 4:21

Nothing is hidden from God, therefore, we can ask Him to slowly remove the layers. One by one, He can remove our exterior to recreate a new heart.

Next time, before you go to bed, or when you wake up, move slowly to the floor. Kneel your heart and bow your knee in prayer, as we are invited to: Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalm 95:6
