Break Free From InsecurityНамуна
"What's Holding You Back?"
Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step in your journey to freedom! “Freedom from what?” Freedom from whatever holds you back from being the person you were meant to be— free from bondage, sin, depression, fear, anxiety, bitterness, caring what people think, self-destructive behaviors, insecurities and lies.
You see, our enemy knows the most powerful person on the planet is a free person. Someone set free by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, someone able to rise above the lies of the enemy and walk in the Truth of who they are—that is a dangerous person to the enemy. He will do everything he can to keep you in bondage to insecurity, focused on the wrong things, and stagnant in your faith. The enemy doesn’t want us free. That is the very reason we must become free.
My hope is by the end of this plan you will have a burning passion rise within to stand and fight for your freedom and the freedom of those around you, that you learn freedom from insecurity is possible if you want it bad enough.
I was reading in the Gospel of John the other day the story about Jesus encountering a man who had been paralyzed for thirty-eight years! Jesus asked him a question that caught me off guard, “Do you want to get well?” Jesus was not just asking if he wanted to get well, he was asking how badly he wanted it. After thirty-eight years this was the only life the man had ever known. Was he secretly afraid to get well because of what he might have to do next? Had he found comfort in his current situation because that was all he’d ever known? What about us? Have we found a false sense of security in our insecurity?
Do you want to be free? How badly do you want it? The tools and insights I am sharing in this fight to overcome insecurity will never be enough unless we match them with an unrelenting desire to be free. If we want something badly enough there should be nothing that can stand in the way of getting it. True desire for God’s best for us is the only thing that will keep us going when we want to give up.
Do you want to be free from your insecurities? How much do you want it?
