C. S. Lewis on Death & Resurrection

DAY 9 OF 10

Application Thoughts

The scene at the Garden of Gethsemane is one in which Jesus' humanness was most cruelly exposed.

It is a scene of greatest despair. But it is also the scene of mankind's greatest hope. Not only because of Jesus' willingness to take up the cross (without which, we would all be eternally lost) but also because we catch a glimpse of the Divine's influence on the Human.

Thankfully, we as His disciples, too, have been given a Divine Influencer - The Holy Spirit. And it is He that will move us to obedience. What we can offer is our total readiness to give up whatever we might be called to by God.

Will you take one more step towards Christ-likeness and give God control over the one thing that you struggle most to let go of?

About this Plan

C. S. Lewis on Death & Resurrection

We are again at the time of year when we remember Jesus' great sacrifice for our redemption. As Easter approaches, let us spend time everyday to meditate on Him, His work on the Cross and most importantly, the impact it is meant to have on our lives. Originally excerpts from the works of C.S.Lewis, this 10-day plan is a series of infographics to help us meditate on this theme.
