Instilling Core Values | Immersion
In this series, we are discussing the importance of developing, communicating, and instilling core values into your organization. In Deuteronomy 6, God gave directions to the Israelites on how to instill His values into the hearts of children.
These directives are valuable for any business and its staff. In Deuteronomy 6:7, God said, “Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
For a business, the key principle behind this verse is immersion. If your values are to be upheld by your staff, they need to be immersed in those values.
This means you are to talk about them to staff regularly, consistently, and throughout the different activities of your day.

About this Plan
Many organizations go through the exercise of developing core values, only to have employees ignore them. Fortunately, God gave us guidance in Deuteronomy 6 when He commanded the Israelites to instill His values in their children. In this four-part series we'll unpack those commands and apply them to business.
