DAY 7 OF 7

Have you made a personal decision about God?

All of us come to God from different life experiences and different experiences of church. However, all of us need to make a personal decision about God.

Showing up at church, any church, doesn't mean you are saying a personal "yes" to God. Now, it certainly helps to show up at church! But it's possible to show up at church with a heart that is still fundamentally closed to God.

Remember, you don't need to have all the answers about God to welcome him personally. You also don't need to know where that personal relationship with God will lead you. But you do need to say "yes" to that relationship with God.

Ultimately, God cares most about one thing in your life: whether you are saying "yes" or "no" to him.

If you said a deeper "yes" to God with this video and you're Catholic, go make a good Confession and then go to church regularly. If you're not Catholic, talk to someone who can be a leader for Christ in your life for support and accountability in your relationship with God.

There will always be parts of your life that feel somewhat hidden except when you are in the presence of God. But this is not a reason to run from the world. Instead go with a personal relationship with God into the world. Go with the peace that comes from knowing that even when you feel hidden from the eyes of others, you are never hidden from God. The Kingdom of Heaven, though hidden, is always in your midst (Luke 17:21).

About this Plan

Hidden

Do you ever feel like parts of you, especially your relationship with God, are hidden from the eyes of others? Do you ever feel lost in the world as someone who has found Jesus Christ? Do you ever feel like some parts of your walk with God are impossible for even your Christian brothers and sisters to fully comprehend? Every Christian in some way is hidden with Christ in God.
