Justice

DAY 23 OF 30

DRUNK JUSTICE

In our cities there is injustice all around us-from people who are addicted to alcohol and trapped in violence to the faceless homeless persons whom we walk past. God promises the suffering city of Jerusalem that he will take away their drunk injustice. He will take away the cup they have become drunk from. God will defend those who suffer injustice and turn this injustice onto the oppressors. Those who are trampled upon will be raised up. How can God use you to change the injustices you see into acts of justice and mercy?

Dear God,
May we honor you in all we do, may our hearts obey you in all you say to us. Thank you that your mercy is infinitely greater than ours. Teach us Lord to have mercy, act justly and walk humbly with you. – Amen

About this Plan

Justice

My inspiration for this 30 days Devotional is from prolonged theological discourses on Justice. My burning desire is to see that the Church becomes catalyst to stop violence against the poor. I am also grateful to Organizations who work relentlessly to secure Justice for the poor.
