Discerning Prophecy And End-Time Signs Намуна
Four Types of Fullness
There are four types of spiritual fullness that we will either experience or witness in the end times.
1. The Fullness of Birth
Today, God is in the process of giving birth to something new in the world because the time of gestation for our current age is almost completed. We are nearing the fullness of all matters concerning the second coming of Christ so that God’s ultimate purposes can be birthed.
However, some Christians have not yet reached maturity and may be in spiritual danger. It is as if they are premature babies and require special attention and care to grow strong in their faith and in the knowledge of Christ. In such cases, spiritual leaders and other believers must pray for and guide them until Jesus is formed within them. “My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you” (Galatians 4:19). It is especially vital in these last days for believers to develop spiritual maturity so they will be able to stand strong during intense persecution and other attacks of the enemy.
2. The Fullness of Character
The fullness of character is the aspect of God in which He is bringing the body of Christ to maturity. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11–12).
At this time, we will see people’s character manifested in its fullness before our eyes, whether their character is good or evil. On the good side, we will see the character of Christ come to completeness within believers. On the evil side, we will see iniquity reach its fullest expression within people in the world; in other words, evil men will become much more evil. “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still” (Revelation 22:11).
In these times, the Lord is working on the character of His remnant bride. (See Ephesians 5:26–27.) The church and individual believers will experience spiritual cleansing to build up their character and enable them to come to spiritual maturity. Will you yield to the Holy Spirit today and allow Him to purify you?
3. The Fullness of Time
Signs that mark the fullness of our times include astronomical phenomena such as a total lunar eclipse known as a “blood moon,” the feast of Pentecost, and the completion of the church age.
The Sign of the Blood Moon
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. (Acts 2:20)
One specific, future blood moon represents a fullness of time, but it also represents the end of an era by pointing to the appearing of the Lord for His church. Its appearance tells us that a calamity of global proportions is about to happen. In fact, it has already begun. The entire world will undergo terrible dilemmas—failing economies, natural disasters, violent confrontations, health emergencies, and widespread death. Most scientists consider blood moons to be merely natural phenomena. However, in our day, there is more to them than that. This sign indicates that we are entering the season before the second coming. It is confirmation from God about Jesus’ return.
The Sign of the Feast of Pentecost
Another sign of fullness in our times is the culmination of the feast of Pentecost, also known as the feast of Harvest. Again, this feast represents the age of the Holy Spirit, of His outpouring and anointing on the earth. The moment the Spirit came, the spiritual feast of Pentecost was initiated; this feast continues to the present day, we are now in the last part of it.
The Bible is clear that no one knows the day or hour of Christ’s return. Jesus said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” (Matthew 24:36). However, this does not mean we cannot recognize the season in which He will return. I believe all indications are here. Therefore, we must remain in expectation of the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit, miracles, signs, and wonders that the earth has ever seen. We also need to be attentive to what is happening with regard to Israel, the church, and the world. In each of these groups, events will accumulate, leading to the manifestation of God’s glory.
4. The Fullness of Harvest
As the fullness of the times unfolds, we will see two separate harvests: the harvest of mercy toward the church and the harvest of judgment toward the world. (See Revelation 14:14–16.) The Lord will return to carry away His bride. On earth, this event will be followed by the distress of the great tribulation. The ultimate judgment of the world will come after the millennial period.
Our Greatest Purpose
We do not only live by natural cycles and times, but also by spiritual seasons that lead us to fulfill our God-given purposes on this earth. And the great purpose we all share is to prepare the way for the coming of the Lord.
We are very close to that event! We cannot remain spiritually asleep. We must watch and pray, staying in communion with the Holy Spirit, so we can be part of the remnant that cries, “Come, Lord Jesus!”
The end-time spiritual harvest is ready. This is the end of the “age of grace,” in which people have an opportunity to receive salvation in Jesus. Therefore, there is an urgent need to call the nations to Christ before it is too late. This is the time! This is the hour! Let us humble ourselves before God’s mighty presence and seek His face. Jesus Christ is at the door, and He is knocking. Will you answer Him with a surrendered and devoted heart?
About this Plan
Christians have various interpretations of the end times. Yet all believers have the hope of Christ’s return, and we are called to discern the times and anticipate His coming. This plan will help you recognize the spiritual season we are living in. This is not a time to sit on the sidelines. We need to understand biblical prophecy, identify end-times signs, and prepare for God’s final plans for the earth.
