SE Students - No Matter What - Part 4Намуна
One of the most painful moments in life is when you wake up from a deep sleep to someone opening up the curtains in your room or turning on the light without first politely asking. Your eyes have gotten used to the dark, and it takes time to adjust to the bright light. Once you do adjust to the light, you can see and prepare for the day. (Even though you may be super mad at whoever woke you up.)
Jesus referred to Himself in the Gospel as the “Light of the World.” As we know, after being rudely awakened, it takes time to adjust and be able to see in the light. After years of following Jesus, his friends finally said one day, “Now we can see.”
God is so patient with us. He truly gives us time to adjust to the Light that is His Son, Jesus, so that we can see for ourselves who He really is. God wants you to see for yourself that He is good, that He knows you, that He loves you, and that He is for you.
Once you adjust to the Light and see Jesus for yourself, He will ask you what He asked His disciples: “Do you now believe?”
Do you?
