SE Students - No Matter What - Part 3Намуна
Reunions need reminders. Before we can experience the fullness and joy of a great reunion with a friend or family member we haven't seen in a long time, we go through this gap period. In that gap, with all that happens to us personally—struggles, issues, and emotions like grief—we need continual reminders of the reunion we will get to experience.
Reminders like pictures, gifts, Facetime calls, and even dates on our calendars offer a certain amount of joy in our lives just when we need it most.
As followers of Jesus, we may be going through a gap season before we get face-to-face with Jesus upon His return, but that doesn't mean we are left without a reminder of that day.
In our verses today, Jesus made a bold claim and offered up that reminder in the form of prayer. Prayer is the daily reminder and connection we have with Jesus that allows us to hold on the hope of a future full of joy. When we pray and God answers us, the joy we are looking for to surpass whatever comes through that door of life will be made complete!
Thanks for completing this reading plan! We pray that this helped you get connected to Jesus. We would love to hear from you on how God used this plan in your life. Keep the conversation going by emailing us at keeptalking@secc.org.
