In My Boat: Trusting God in the Midst of the Storm Намуна
Walking on Water
Have you ever wondered what it wold take for all your dreams to come true, for you to live your best life?
Setting sail on life’s journey has a way of programming our orientation about the things we think we can have, do, or say in the storm and this sometimes limits and negatively impacts our belief system. If we could set aside our reasoning we would see that all things are possible, if we would only believe Jesus.
Imagine the many perspectives that would have been painted to the man that met Jesus about healing his son. “Sir, there is nothing we can do for your son. Sir, this is a waste of time. There is no remedy to this. Sorry sir, issues like this are rare and there’s no cure for it.” But these are the voices you will always hear in the storm—impossibility! It has a way of blinding you and sometimes making you deaf to God’s voice in the storm.
He is constantly asking, “What do you mean, ‘If I can?” He is speaking to your almost numb faith. You can walk on this water if only you believe. This storm is nothing.
Walking on water is to live your best life. It’s to live in abundance, to live in good and perfect health, to live your dream. And this is in spite of the storm—what the circumstances are at the time or what the popular opinion is about.
Walking on water is to believe that you can because you are plugged in to the source of all possibilities.
Prayer
Dear Father God,
Please help my unbelief.
In Jesus‘ Name,
Amen!
