I Depend on His Spirit
Many times we are intimidated and distressed because we do not depend on the One that God left to comfort and teach us all things, the Holy Spirit.
The Bible tells us that He will lead us into all truth.
I love that His Spirit was also sent to remind us of God's promises. How important it is to have a friend who, when things get difficult or uncertain, reminds us of God's goodness and His promises. How important it is to have someone who helps us focus on the right things, to align our perspective.
Do you worry about your future?
The Word says that the Holy Spirit will tell us all the things that are to come. I wonder if maybe we don't have spiritual intuition when our dependence is not on Him.
Many may believe that the success of a church is based on its methods, but it is not a question of aesthetics or how modern our way of doing things is. Rather it is that our dependence is on the power of the Holy Spirit. It is He who transforms, reveals, lifts up and empowers.
I depend on the power of the Holy Spirit, because it is He who does in us and through us what we cannot do on our own. I also depend on Him to testify to the greatness of God's glory and the power of His name.
On what or who are you depending on?
Don't depend on men. God will surround you with the right people, but not to depend on them. No person can complete you, only God can. Depend on His love to find your value. With all your imperfections, depend on His mercy. Depend on His Word and provision even in the midst of times of uncertainty. And always depend on the Holy Spirit, because He will reveal the Truth to you. He will show you your future, empower you and lift you up to enter into what God has prepared for your life.
