DAY 5 OF 11

Be Curious About God

Psalm 25:14

The Lord confides in those who fear Him; He makes His covenant known to them.

There was a queen from Sheba who heard about Solomon and everything about him. She was so curious that she came down to Jerusalem just to meet with Solomon. She asked so many questions that she had on her mind and Solomon answered all of her questions as if there was nothing that was too difficult for him.

She had seen with her own eyes the temple of God, Solomon's palace, his wisdom and everything around him. She was so impressed. Solomon's wisdom and prosperity far exceeded his fame of which she had heard.

May you be curious about God's words as the Queen of Sheba was about King Solomon. When you are curious about someone, you will try to find out more about the person. How do you find out more about God? By reading the Bible.

But finding out only is not sufficient. Like the Queen of Sheba who came to meet King Solomon personally, let’s also experience God’s love personally by praying and reading His words. The more time you spend with God, the more goodness and truth He will reveal to answer your curiosity about Him.

Prayer

Dear God, I want to know You more and experience the wonder of Your works. Amen.
