Great Adventurers (Week 4)Намуна
Day Seven - Gods Way is Best
Welcome to our Great Adventurers Devotional! We are so excited to have you following along with us as we journey and look at some of the Great Adventurers in the Bible.
Jonah managed to do as God asked him when he realized that God’s Way is Best!
READ:
'Jonah and the Big Fish' in the Beginners Bible (pages 257-264) or Jonah 1-3:10
When Jonah realized that God’s Way is Best, he saw God move in a miraculous way. God changed the people of Nineveh. They turned away from doing bad things, said sorry to God, and changed how they lived.
When we tell Jesus we are sorry for all the bad things we have done and ask Him to forgive us, we start a fresh new life with Jesus. You see With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!
ASK:
Do you know Jesus as your friend?
If you are not sure, you can chat with your grownup and ask them about their friendship with Jesus.
If you would like to know Jesus as your friend, with your grownup, you may want to pray this prayer;
Dear Jesus, thank you for forgiving me for all the things I have done wrong. I believe in my heart that you died for me and that you came back to life. I love you and will live for you every single day of my life. Thank you for loving me and saving me. Amen”.
If you pray this prayer, we would love to celebrate with you and your grownups. Please ask your grownups to let us know @freedomkidsglobal!
We would also love to hear about everything you have been up to and learned this week! Remember to send us your photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram @freedomkidsglobal
REMEMBER:
‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!”’ (Matthew 19:26)
SAY:
I’m an adventurer.
I am bold. I am strong with the word of the Lord.
I will follow wherever you lead.
I won’t stop. I’ve been set free.
In Jesus name, Amen!
About this Plan
In the Bible, we see that through ‘Great Adventurers’ God has changed the world around them for good. God can take the seemingly bad things and turn them for good. We will follow in the footsteps of these ‘Great Adventurers’ and see how God, through their boldness, changed the world around them! This week we’re looking at the story of Jonah and our memory verse in Matthew 19:26.
