God's Great Victories Намуна
Day 1: Wait till the end of the story...
Think About:
If you know the whole story of Joseph, you will know that Joseph’s brothers sold him as a slave because they were jealous of him; that he was thrown in prison wrongly and that everything seemed to be going wrong in his life. (you can read the whole story in Genesis 37, 39-47). Joseph kept his eyes on God. He kept trusting God. He kept living how God would want him to- and God brought about a great victory through his life. Joseph became a great ruler and the dreams he had when he was young became true.
God needed Joseph in Egypt to save people. Joseph would never have gone there on his own- this only happened because his brother’s sold him. He would never have been able to interpret Pharaoh’s dreams, if he hadn’t been in prison and interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh’s servants. We have to trust that God is working for our good, even when it looks like everything is bad. We have to wait for the ‘end of the story’.
Many people were saved because Joseph kept loving God, even when it was hard.
What Now?
How can you be like Joseph?
When things are hard and everything seems to be going wrong it can be easy to think that God doesn’t love us, or that He doesn’t care. But we have to wait to the ‘end of the story’ of us and God. God loves us and He is working everything for good, even if we can’t see it yet.
Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep loving God. It’s not the end of the story yet!
About this Plan
Throughout the Bible we see God do amazing things. He can do anything. There is nothing beyond His power. Our faith will grow and strengthen when we look at how God won battles and understand His power for ourselves. This will give us courage and strength even when things in our world are hard. So are you ready to be excited about how mighty our God is?
