Fear Busters (Week 4)

DAY 6 OF 7

Day Six - I can trust God

Hello mini Fearbusters? How are you all doing? Are you having fun following our journey with the Fear Busters?

READ

‘Jesus Teaches on a Mountain’ in the Beginner's Bible (Pages 318 to 321) or in Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus is teaching people on the mountain and telling them that they do not need to worry about anything!

This week we have been learning that God is For Us. We have learnt about Jesus teaching on the mountain and tells us all about how God feeds the birds and dresses that flowers and that we are much more important to God than the birds and flowers, so we do not need to worry, because God will take care of us!

We can all trust what God says in His word is true!  So if God says that we are more important than birds and flowers and that He will take care of us, we can believe it!

Sometimes when we do worry, we forget that we can trust God, but we can read about all the wonderful things that God has done for His people and remember that His promises are true for us today also.  So we can trust that what God’s word says is true!

ASK:

How can we remember some of the promises God has made to us?

Maybe you could get creative with how you remember these promises? Ask your grown up to help you come up with a plan.

REMEMBER:

“So what should we say about this? If God is for us, then no one can defeat us.”  (Romans 8:31 ICB)

SAY - FEARBUSTER PRAYER:

You are bigger than my fears. You wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, you teach me what to say. I am brave because of you! This sickness just won't do, we tell it now to QUIT. We've had enough of it!
