Fear Busters (Week 3) Намуна
Day Four - Jesus is Risen!
Hello Mini FearBusters! How are you all doing? How is remembering your memory verse going?
Today we are going to learn all about the wonderful good news, that Jesus rose again from the grave!
READ:
‘Jesus is Risen’ in the Beginners Bible (Pages 453-458) or in Luke 24:1-12
What do we know;
- After Jesus died He was placed into a tomb, a big heavy stone was put in front of it and soldiers stood guard over the entrance to the tomb.
- 3 days later, an Angel came down from Heaven and pushed the stone away from the entrance to the tomb.
- When Mary and her friends came to visit Jesus, the Angel told them, “Do not be afraid. Jesus is not here. He has risen! Go and tell Peter and the other disciples that Jesus is alive!” Mary ran to tell the disciples that Jesus was Alive, she was so happy!
This is the very first Easter Day! We can celebrate that God sent Jesus to die on the cross so that we can be friends with Jesus and He made it possible for us to walk and talk with God. Jesus is our friend and will always be with us!
ASK:
How do you celebrate Easter? Do you have fun doing this?
This is a wonderful day! We can be happy because God made a way for us to walk and talk with Him. Jesus is our friend and He helps us and will always be with us!
REMEMBER:
“Don’t be afraid. I know that you are looking for Jesus, the one who was killed on the cross. But he is not here. He has risen from death as he said he would. " (Matthew 28:5-6 ICB)
SAY - FEARBUSTER PRAYER:
You are bigger than my fears. You wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, you teach me what to say. I am brave because of you! This sickness just won't do, we tell it now to QUIT. We've had enough of it!
