Follow After Righteousness

DAY 5 OF 7

The Idols Of The Past.

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua‬ ‭24:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Choose to be anchored by His Word. Choose to surrender to His Word. His Way is full of Power. His Way is full of Authority. It is your choice to decide who you will serve. Will you serve the gods of this world? Or will you choose to serve Christ? Choose to be set free from the bondage of the past and serve Christ.

Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Choose not to serve the bondage of the past. Choose not to let your heart be entangled with the bondage or yokes of the past. Serve Christ.

It’s time to choose. You can either worship the gods of this world or you can choose to wholeheartedly surrender your heart to Christ. Choose to pursue Christ. Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”

In fact, the Amplified Version expounds on Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭AMPC this way, “Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!” Choose Christ and you will be completely satisfied.
