I Will Not Fear

DAY 5 OF 7

The Weapon Of Fear.

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah‬ ‭54:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The enemy sends fear as a means to disarm your faith. In fact, fear is a construct that the enemy deploys as a weapon to dismantle your purpose and destiny. In fact, Matthew‬ ‭14:26-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬ expounds on Peter’s encounter with faith and fear in this manner, “And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”

“Be of good cheer — it is I.” Be not afraid — God is with you. Christ is for you. Fear will cause you to panic. Fear will cause you to doubt God. Fear is not of God. Fear is not from God. Fear was sent to stagger your footsteps. Choose not to stagger at the Promises of God. Choose to fix your focus on Christ. Walk forward in Him.

Fear is the enemy’s weapon and its objective is to get you to bow to the lord of fear — Satan. Choose not to bow to fear. Choose to live by and walk by faith. Remember, ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “For we walk by faith, not by sight:” Walk by Faith and not by what you see. Choose to trust God.
