R.O.B. FearНамуна
I R.O.B. fear of its power when I trust God instead of worrying.
Some people think it’s okay to worry. It might look smart to say, “What if this happens,” or, “What if that happens?” You need to make sure everything’s going to be okay, right?
But it’s not right! Worry isn’t okay because worry is fear. A BIG, BAD fear of what could go wrong. And that kind of fear keeps you from doing the good things God wants you to do.
Jesus tells the Bible story in Matthew 6:25-34. He says you don’t have to worry when you put God first and trust in His truth, because God promises to take care of you.
Talk it over: What is one thing you worry about? Which verse from Matthew 6:25-34 will help you R.O.B. that worry of its power the most? Use the verse you choose to R—remember God’s truth, O—open your mouth and say it out loud, and B—battle it out by saying your worry to God and trusting Him to take care of it.
