What to Do When You Don't Know What to Do

DAY 7 OF 25

Fact: Life is hard at times. At some point we’re all going to walk through things that we just don’t feel like we have the strength to get through on our own. The end of a friendship, the death of a family member, the breakup of our family. When we face things like that, we wonder how we’re going to make it through.

When faced with challenging circumstances, we can take a cue from Paul. He wrote this verse to the Philippians from prison—a time in his life when things certainly weren’t looking good. But rather than giving up on God, he asked God for the strength to persevere. And we can do the same! No matter how daunting and difficult our circumstances, we can ask God for the strength to get through it. What difficult season or circumstance are you facing now? Pray today that God will not only give you that strength, but that He will remind you that you can trust His faithfulness to help you in the midst of it.
