Book of Exodus

DAY 8 OF 12

LIFE FOR GOD

Moses was not only ordered to write down all the rules and commands for the Israelites to live in the midst of God, but God also gave instructions to Moses to prepare all the tools to be used by them for worship. Each tool had its own meaning and function. They had to be sanctified and the expert who has been anointed by God made them carefully. Now in the New Testament, each of us is an instrument used for God's glory, aren't we? God gave us gifts of the Holy Spirit— the equipment God gave us to serve Him and build a body of Christ.

Unfortunately, sometimes we still find children of God who don't understand that they are valuable in the eyes of the Lord. They don't know that they have been redeemed by Jesus, and they are instruments used for the glory of God. Many Christians waste their time for something useless. The owner of the time is the Lord, isn't He? Therefore we have to appreciate every second that is given to us by God.

Every opportunity which is given by God is an invaluable Grace. As the one who has been redeemed, we should be aware that our life is not for ourselves, but we live for God.

We were sanctified, justified, and equipped by His power to do right things, to do the holy things.
