Let God Do A New ThingНамуна
Let God Do A New Thing.
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 KJV
Let God do it His way. The wilderness is a place of confusion. The wilderness is a place of entanglement. The wilderness is a place where untamed beasts and the wildlife roam.
Think of the wilderness as a place where there is no clear path or line of sight in order to move forward. Isaiah 43:19 KJV declares, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness.” When you trust God, He will make a clear path — even in the wilderness.
No wilderness can defeat Him. No wilderness can overthrow Him. God created the wilderness and He can create a new path for you, even when you cannot determine which way to go. Trust His Guidance. Trust His Wisdom. Trust God’s Instruction. Submit to Him.
Matthew 4:1 KJV declares, “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.” Christ was led into the wilderness in order to conquer every aspect of the wilderness — for you. When you read Matthew Chapter 4, Christ teaches us how to conquer every aspect of the wilderness.
Through His example, Christ teaches us how to overcome and conquer every tactic and snare of the enemy. The wilderness was designed to expose what was inside of you. You can choose to surrender to God’s Way of doing things or you can submit to the world’s way of doing things. What’s in your heart? Be not entangled in the bondage of the wilderness. Choose to trust God — the wilderness will not destroy you.
Matthew 4:4 KJV declares, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Live” is ‘zaō’ (G2198) which means, “To live, breathe, be among the living (not lifeless, not dead), to enjoy real life, to have true life and worthy of the name, active, blessed, endless in the kingdom of God, to live in the manner of the living and acting of mortals or character.” Let every aspect of your character reflect the Heart of Christ.
Let the infrastructure of your heart and the framework of your moral character be defined by the Word of God. Don’t let the wilderness distract you. Don’t let the desert deter you. Don’t let the world entangle you. Focus on His Word. Take each step forward with Christ. Walk with Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV declares, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Choose to walk by faith and not by sight.
