Discovering The Names Of GodНамуна
The invitation is addressed to you!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s texts and especially that they fed you. :-) We are finishing this special series today.
Have you ever been invited to a reception or another special event? When the day comes, you have to present your invitation to be able to enter. No invitation, no entry!
Today, an invitation was specially left for you. It is found in Revelation 3:20: “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.”
This invitation is signed by Jesus. The most beautiful name of God I’d like to share with you. Jesus, which means the Lord is Salvation. This is the name above all other names. The only name by which men can be saved. The name of the King of Kings...and this King invites you to open the door to Him: “ I stand at the door and knock.”
Jesus is the One who saves. He saves you from the power of sin, of course, but also from all your troubles and sorrows. Jesus is your faithful friend. What does He desire?
- A heart-to-heart with you.
- A daily relationship.
- To talk with you.
- To show you what has been prepared for you.
- To accompany you in good times and bad.
- To be there in sickness and in health.
Jesus is here. You can open the door to Him, talk with Him. You can trust Him with your worries, joys, hopes, and even your dreams.
If you have already given your life to Jesus, I congratulate you...that’s awesome! And I encourage you to continue along this path. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior, I’d like to give you the opportunity to do so today with this prayer…“Jesus, I open the door of my heart, and life, to You. I invite you to come in and make my heart Your home. Thank You for paying the price for my sins on the cross. I acknowledge You as my personal Lord and my Savior. I want to live for You from this day forward and discover more of You. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.”
Have a wonderful day with Jesus!
Be blessed and filled with His Spirit.
